Innovative Solutions for Renewable Energy

The mission of Enis WindGen™ Renewable Energy Services LLC is to “bottle electricity.”

Using our innovative T-CAES technology you can store the energy generated by wind turbines or other sources for later use when demand is high or the wind stops blowing.

Benefits of T-CAES System

  • Backup power when grid fails
  • Extended power vs. discharge time
  • Adaptable to any geological or geographical site
  • Operation at high power levels >0.5 MW
  • Three operation modes: Electric Power, Chilled Air, Pneumatic Drive
  • Power smoothing and peak shaving
  • High system efficiencies
  • 50 year lifetime for key components
  • No corrosive or toxic chemicals
  • No combustion by-products
  • TL-CAES system not only provides energy storage capability, but also energy transfer to the user, using a pneumatic pipeline for air storage
  • Existing unused high-pressure underground pipelines provide an economical way to store and transfer energy to the user without electric power lines
  • The T-CAES and TL-CAES systems reduce greenhouse effects using highly chilled air by-product to separate and safely dispose of CO2 from coal combustion products of a coal-burning power plant

We are a full service organization that will:

  • Review your specifications
  • Design your system
  • Procure and deliver the components to your site
  • Assemble your complete energy storage system
  • Integrate our system with your electrical power source and your receiver systems
  • Verify system performance
  • Supply technical support to you during system operation

Applications for the T-CAES System

  • Store excess wind energy for use when there is insufficient wind to supply demand
  • Store energy from the electric grid power during the night, when rates are low. Use the stored energy in the daytime during high peak hours, when rates are high. The system is applicable to:
    1. Combustion-Driven Power Plants
    2. Large Wind Farms
    3. Geothermal Plants
    4. Nuclear Plants
  • Generate highly chilled air for air-conditioning, cold storage, desalination, or CO2 management
  • Use waste heat available on site to increase the output of the turboexpander
  • Highly Chilled Air by-product can be used for:
    1. HVAC
    2. Desalination
    3. Cold Storage Facilities
    4. Separation and management of gaseous CO2 from coal-combustion products in the form of dry ice (reduce greenhouse effects)
    5. The dry ice can subsequently be used in the soft drink industry, cold storage industry, and other industrial and commercial applications
